The Wilsonian - The College Magazine
The past unfolds through the pages of the WILSONIAN. Never content to be a silent spectator, the magazine voices the changing face of society, through the changing concerns of the student community. The history of the College has its permanent records in the WILSONIAN.
It has had uninterrupted publication since 1909; currently, it is a record of all activities of academic departments and offers a campus review of the various co-curricular activities and programmes in the College.
Special issues brought out over the years :
1957-1958 : 125 years of Wilson College
1982 : The Sesquicentennial Issue
1997-1998 : 50 years of Indian Independence.
It has articles by eminent freedom fighters and the role of
Wilson College in the freedom struggle.
1999-2000 : These 2 Millenium issues contain an updated record
2000-2001 : of the College and its activities.
2003-2004 : Rev Dr John Wilson Birth Bicentenary Issue
2011-2012 : 100 years of Mackichan Hall
2013-2014 : 125 years of the College Building
In 1994 and 1999, the WILSONIAN was awarded the M.V. Chandgadkar Trophy for the Best College Magazine.
