Established on June 20, 2004, the Wilson College IQAC has achieved consistent "A" grade accreditation through three NAAC cycles, driving excellence in academics, administration, and institutional development.

Aims and Objectives

  • Set and supervise quality parameters periodically.
  • Promote academic and administrative development through self-appraising activities.
  • Conduct internal and external audits.
  • Promote ICT tools for teaching and value-based education.
  • Work towards autonomy for Wilson College.
  • Build stakeholder associations and promote social responsibility.
  • Produce high-caliber graduates with contemporary sensibilities and values.

Policies

  • Conduct periodic academic and administrative audits.
  • Prepare and submit AQAR and SSR per NAAC guidelines.
  • Collect and analyze feedback from stakeholders.
  • Prepare documents for college ranking submissions.
  • Document programs and activities for efficient data management.
  • Support interdisciplinary workshops, FDPs, seminars, and training programs.
  • Create a learner-centric environment for quality education and faculty development.
  • Act as a nodal agency to recommend improvements in academics and administration.

  • Faculty Development Program: Workshop on Flipped Classroom (October 27, 2018).
  • Talk on '˜Academia and Industry Networking' by P. Sekhar (November 27, 2018).
  • Self-defense workshop for students and staff (January 9, 2019 onwards).
  • 'Youth for Green Fest' ISR activity (February 14-15, 2019).
  • Session on ‘Leadership in Cross-Cultural Context' by Prof. Olaf Zylics (February 26, 2019).
  • Certificate courses: Local Diversity, Research Methodology, Disability Studies, Local Culture, Paramedical Course, Indian Script and Numismatics, Astronomy, Saral Hindi.
