A Brief History of Department
Every Journey invariably starts with a single step so “TAKE PRIDE IN HOW FAR YOU HAVE COME, HAVE FAITH IN HOW FAR YOU CAN GO”. With the same determination we had embarked on a Journey in 2020 by introducing the Couse of bachelor of commerce under commerce department at Wilson College.

About Commerce: The Wilson College attained Autonomous status in 2022 and this set the department aflame, constantly endeavor to offer relevant and updated courses with practical dimension to provide dynamic business environment with skilled and furnished Personnel. The commerce department of our college offers the students to study wide range of courses majorly in Commerce, Accountancy, Finance, Management and Economics.

Mr.Ashwin Kataria

Qualifications: M.Com , NET, SET
Research Interest:
Short Biography: Mr. Ashwin Kataria has done his Post graduation MCOM from HR College. Master of Financial Management (MFM), NET (National Eligibility Test) in 2019 and SET (State Eligibility Test) in 2016

Area of Specialization: Accountancy and Finance

He has also written Two Research Papers on:
1. Role of Artificial Intelligence in Education
2. A study on perception of Millennials towards financial products for Retirement Planning and their Investment strategy for Retirement
3. A study on Awareness and Acceptance of Digitalization of Banking sector among youth of Mumbai.

Ms.Joffy Jose

Qualifications: UGC-NET(2020), M. COM, BAF
Area of Specialization: Commerce, Marketing and Accountancy
Short Biography: Ms. Joffi Jose is an Assistant Professor in Department of Commerce. She is UGC-NET qualified. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce(Accountancy and Finance). She has Master's in Advanced Accountancy. She holds an experience in teaching for 1.5 years.
